I can't recommend this game.The whole thing about this game is to pay for extra time for playing. You have only a little *health bar* and every time you try a HOG it drops....and it takes time to refill.So if you are happy with playing only around 3 - 5 short rounds a day....you must pay for crystals tobuy food that refills your health.Also, there are some *quests* were you must trade with merchants....some you can exchange withitems from the HOGs...but after that....play more or buy coins.Add that you must play each HOG endless times again and again....and that the HOG's are low res.NO, don't buy it.. Mystic Saga is a freemium hidden object point & click game. You can access a few locations at first like a cabin or blacksmith's house and you just have to find the objects it tells you to find. When you do finish a stage, you're rewarded with items to turn in to NPCs and they'll unlock more quest and so on. You'll also earn experience points so you can level up and access even more stages.Here's the catch though. You get a certain amount of energy points. Every time you enter a stage it depletes your energy points and the only way to replenish them is by waiting minutes in real-time, finding energy repleneshing items from getting achievements or quest rewards, and by purchasing items from the in-game store with in-game currency. If you've run out of currency you can spend real money as a shortcut just like any freemium game. You run out of energy very fast too since a stage only takes a minute or less.The artwork is nice at least, it looks like the art department put effort into that. The game itself is very repetetive and unrewarding though, there are much better hidden object games on steam that are worth buying rather than sinking $ into microtransactions in this game. I'm sure you can complete the game by not spending a dime but that would take patience I don't have. I've only played for an hour but having to replay the same stages over and over killed any motivation I had to keep going.. game stopped running, please help!. they are so many better hidden object games out there I wouldn't wish something like this on my worst enemy. Looking to pick up this game because why pay for a casual game? Keep moving. The item drop rate in this game is completely screwed and you wind up picking up quests that are impossible to finish before the game is even half done.If that wasn't bad enough, the game has some really weird design choices. Like, chaining together finds gives you extra items. Sounds like a great thing, right? Well the bonus items pop up on the screen, obscuring the play area and making it even harder to continue chaining finds.. Started as nice promising hidden object game that turned into an annoying thing, at least for me. So this is a mobile port and it works fine, no glitching, freezing etc, the only issue i can say it doesnt matter if I put it on HDD or SSD it takes around 30 sec to start then it`s fine, I`m guessing it has to do something with windows 10 but who knows.positives:-alot of scenes to play on-objects randomize, change positions-RPG elements-limitation on how many times you can explore a region before you deplete your energy and have to wait, this is a good thing forces you to chill and do something else for a change-extremly long, if you planning on getting everything ingame-steam achievements-steam trading cardsnegatives:-replayability NONE, especially when you have to explore the same area/picture so many times in order to progress-REPETITIVE-the annoying energy limitation, yeah i said it`s positive but at the same time it is annoying-even with the objects randomizing after a while you see the pattern and you can beat an area in 30 sec-some pictures are way too dark so the objects are kinda faded in with the background which was annoying-some minor bugs, when you click on "Go to area" game crashes, happens randomly for no apparent reasonWell got the game during a sale, steam suggestion seemed nice, payed 50 cents for it and that would be the perfect price for it, if you`re like me wanting to burn through asap and being held back with having to wait for the recharge, and for me the repepetive part was really annoying. But if you`re a person who`s gonna play this occassiaonly then you probably would enjoy it more then I did.4/10Reccomended with a caution.. Another game wanting inApp purchases for energy :(. Some other reviewers queried whether this game is dead and I have been working to proof this is indeed the case. Eventhough the graphics are nice and it's a great hidden object game I strongly recommend not purchasing it. The developers simply didn't bother to make a proper finish for the game and clearly are just trying to get you to make in-app purchases. I have played the whole game without ever making an additional purchase, got every achievement that's possible in the game, finished every collection multiple times and reached the highest level of all areas (highest level is 11, after that the bar just doesn't fill anymore) and finished every task but the last one (the shards of the mirror) which never became active (even after there's no progress to be had in the game whatsoever). I had hoped that the developers would not have just left this game unfinished however thisis clearly the case. Point proven: THE GAME IS DEAD and not worth your money.
