Both of them pull at his heart and soul… The story can take many paths, and the outcome of this romantic horror tale can go to unimaginable places. Sometimes you will get very frustrated!+++ ATLUS \/ SEGA QUALLITY GAME!10\/10. A freaky weird puzzle game focusing on the story of a two-timing man named Vince. The game focuses around your relationships with characters in a bar during the day, and puzzle nightmares at night. The puzzles consist of moving blocks to create a path to the top of the stage. Certain blocks have different properties, like some take longer to move, while others explode a short time after you've stepped on them. The game has 8 endings, loads of small side objectives, and a randomized climb mode for people who are far better at puzzles than I am.Also while there isn't any nudity, the game is very sexualized.. Simple but challenging gameplay with a great story to back it up. I see a lot of negative reviews over the framerate, but I couldn't see any issues on my end. The game certainly looks like it is running at 60 FPS to me. I haven't had any crashing issues or instability. One issue I have had is with voices becoming quiet after playing for a while... odd but not a huge deal.If you like puzzle games and\/or romance\/drama games, you'll love this. The writing is top notch and the animated scenes, while played back at a lower framerate than the game itself, are very nice.8\/10 port :). This game is really goodI hope persona will also be on PC, i'ill gladly buy it at a full price. Most people this game for the fun story, not for the masochistic puzzles. Even on easy mode it gets insane around night 3 or so. After like 20 deaths in a row its kind of a buzz kill. Wait till the full body english version so that you can skip annoying puzzles. Atlus is one of my favorite publishers and developers. Hope they also put Persona on PC, hell maybe some Shin Megami Tensei, but this game is great as well. As a port, I was not disappointed. As a game on its own, it's really good if you enjoy puzzle games because that is the core mechanic. The story is engaging enough as well. However, it shows its age in its limited choices that you can make even though there are still multiple endings. Regardless, I do recommend you get this game because it is fun and enthralling.. I saw this game on sale and I thought, "Why not? I love Atlus!". So here is my simple and short first ever review:Main Pros:a-Great story. I can see Atlus making a movie adaption for this and that it would do well.b-The game's strongest point, arguably, is it's amazing, well-fleshed out characters. You can't help yourself but fall in love with them.c-The game has about 8 endings:1-Faithful True2-Faithful Good3-Faithful Bad4-Cheater True5-Cheater Good6-Cheater Bad7-Freedom True8-Freedom GoodThis game has a "Karma Meter" system in where the decisions you make and the answers that you give to questions presented to you can change the outcome of the plot. The last stage of the game forces you to make answers that can change your ending, so check the internet for an "endings guide" before going through with that stage.d-This game has amazing dub voice acting (as expected from Atlus). e-The puzzles were quite a lot of fun to solve and gave a huge feeling of satisfaction when you beat them. They can be extremely hard at times though.f-Decent soundtrack.Main Cons:a-The game's worst point is that it is short. The game's length is around 15 hours and that wasn't enough to flesh out the characters properly. Some characters barely interacted with each other! b-The controls for this game on PC are very meh. Use a controller if you can.c-The puzzles can get repetitive and boring.d-The camera can get quite glitchy at times, especially during puzzles.Overall:I give this game a 7\/10. It was a quite the fun experience in my opinion. Get it when it's on sale and you have money to spare.. Pretty good puzzle game with a pretty decent story. I only got the Catherine ending but I know there's a neutral ending and a Katherine ending as well so that's quite a bit of content.. The gameplay's good, being both challenging and rewarding at the same time. The difficulty can get frustrating, sure, but with some tenacity (and maybe a guide here and there) it's not too bad.The real caveat to my recommendation is the setting and the plot. I feel like younger audiences really won't connect with the subject matter and main character, and aside from the namesake postergirl, there's really just not much for a younger crowd, which is a really nice change of pace from the persona series.Pick up Catherine Classic, it's a good one.
